We work out of Gurnee and cover Lindenhurst as part of the same run, about 6 miles down the road. Because we're not based in town, we ask a few questions up front - door size, whether it's one spring or two, roughly how old the house is - so the truck that shows up has the right torsion spring on it rather than the wrong one. A single-car door usually runs one spring; most double doors built in the 1980s and 90s era common here run two, and if only one has broken, we'll generally recommend replacing both since the surviving one is close behind it in age and wear. This isn't an emergency same-hour service out of a local depot - we're driving in from Gurnee for every job here, so book with that in mind rather than expecting a walk-in style response.
