We stock common torsion springs, standard steel and insulated panel sections, rollers, cables, and openers on the truck, which covers most jobs on a house this age without a special order. What we don't carry as standard stock is anything sized to a nonstandard opening - some builds from the early '90s have narrower or shorter openings than current standard sizes, and those doors sometimes have to be special-ordered, which adds lead time we'll tell you about upfront.
For the opener side, we carry current models with today's safety-reversal standards built in, which matters if your existing opener predates them. We don't try to repair openers that old past a certain point - sometimes the honest answer is that replacing it costs less over time than chasing parts for a unit that's outlived its gearing.
If your need is smaller than a full replacement - a broken spring, a bent track, a roller that's finally given out - that's covered on our [garage door service page](/grandwood-park/garage-door-service/) rather than here. For our broader installation coverage from the Gurnee shop, see the [main installation page](/garage-door-installation-gurnee-il).
